Although I am not sure to what end, I am researching the nuclear legacy of the American Southwest. With hope of gaining knowledge and sensitivity to the place where I live, I am gleaning from the incomplete archive of information and images which relates to what was once called an era, but now is clearly an weighty, unwanted, and indefinite heritage. Under a shroud of secrecy and political shadows, the people and places of the Southwest have been indelibly altered.
